Hyoko 2024 (Summer)
This year, the lotus is bushy at Lake Hyouko. I have heard rumors that the managements of the lake are trimming the lotus for the swans every year, but whether they are really trimming the lotus, how it is supposed to be good for the swans, and what the swans actually think about it, are all mysteries. What I can say at this point is that the lotus is very shaggy at Hyoko this year, and the exotic feeling that is created in the summer has become even stronger, and this has been reinforced by the extreme temperatures. In the shade of the lotus, ducks, buntings, and kites are raising their young, making the lake an elegant place to spend time this year.
