Hyoko (Summer 2023)

This is my second visit to Hyoko Lake in the summer. This is the season when ducks and water hens are raising their young. Lotus flowers are blooming, leaves are storing the previous day’s rain, and ducks and ducklings are snoozing on the shore. A pleasant languor pervades the air.
